May I purchase an upper receiver or spare parts from Stonycreek?
Sorry, we do not ship any upper receivers, machine
gun parts or magazines with a capacity of over ten rounds to these
states as thier laws are strict and ever changing.
We do not ship ANYTHING outside of the U.S.A.
I am interested in your Tactical
front grips. What are your grips dimensions?
The overall length is 6-3/4" for the full sized grips and
5" for the special ops grip. The actual grip section where
your hand fits is 4"or 3 1/2" and they are 1-1/2"
thick. They are made from one piece of 6061 Aircraft grade Aluminum.
See our many photos of these awesome new grips to see that they
are the perfect length.
The Tactical front grips use the .400" barrel flange to
hold securely to the barrel. This flange is sometimes called the
barrels
"boss". Most MAC Sonic's type suppressors have a flat
rear end cap that does
not cover the barrels flange. in this case the Tri-rail will work
great,
some Bowers type suppressors with a rear end cap that is flared
and covers
the barrels flange will not work properly as the Tri-rail needs
that area to
hold on to the barrel.
What types of suppressors work with
your Tactical front grips and Tri-Rail systems?
We have designed our grips to function with original Sonic's type
M.A.C. and Bowers older style suppressors. Krink cans and newer
style Bowers suppressors that have the rear end cap flanged to
cover the barrels boss and fit up tightly against the receiver
will not work properly with our grips.
The Tri-rail modular mounting system and the Tactical
front grips use the .400" barrel flange to
hold securely to the barrel. This flange is sometimes called the
barrels
"boss". Most MAC Sonic's type suppressors have a flat
rear end cap that does
not cover the barrels flange. in this case the Tri-rail will work
great,
some Bowers type suppressors with a rear end cap that is flared
and covers
the barrels flange will not work properly as the Tri-rail needs
that area to
hold on to the barrel.
Some others grips may need custom fitting. Put on the new grip
and screw on your suppressor before tightening the grip. Be sure
your suppressor fits on straight and has enough of the barrel
inside before shooting. Remove the upper and look through from
the rear to check for alignment. Then tighten the grip.
The Stonycreek Tri-Rail system looks
great! Can I use this with my semi-auto pistol?
The Tri-rail modular mounting system may be used on any M11 or
M10 firearm with a 6" barrel. This works great with laser
sights and Tactical lights. Vertical grips may only be added to
SMG's.
The problem is when you want to put a front grip on ANY semi-auto
pistol. The BATF says adding a front grip to any semi-auto pistol
is a big "NO-NO" unless the pistol is registered as
an A.O.W.
What are the laws regarding AR stock adapters
or stocks install on SEMI AUTO fireams?
Only add a stock to a firearm with at least a 16"
barrel! Check all local, state and federal laws.
Adding any butt stock to any semi auto pistol will violate local,
state and federal laws unless it is registered as a SBR, short
barreled rifle or it has at least a 16" barrel installed.
What types of firearms work with
your Side cocker uppers?
S.W.D., M.A.C., RPB, New Jersey Arms, Stephensville Texas Macs.
Powder Springs firearms will work with our M10 uppers if you use
a special two-piece receiver pin.
Are Bolt assemblies included with
your Side cocker uppers?
You simply use the OEM original bolt that came with your firearm.
If you need a new one, we can supply that at a nominal fee. Our
M11/9 SMG fixed firing pin bolt assemblies are the best on the
market and will greatly improve the function and performance of
your submachine gun.
Does the Side Cocking Handle move
back and fourth while shooting?
No, that is one of the many advantages of the Side Cocker uppers.
Also, without the top cockers groove along the top of the receiver,
you will not have hot gases blasting you in the face while shooting.
What shipping company do you use?
We normally use the U.S. postal service "USPS" unless
otherwise requested.
All items over $100 will
now be shipped SIGNATURE REQUIRED
and Priority Mail service.
We ship all our items in plain cardboard boxes with
"S.C.A." as the return address name.
Can I visit your showroom or factory?
Sorry, our facilities are not open to the public but you may see
our items in person at many gun shows or at New England Outfitters
in Wallingford, CT. or Qubetas field and stream store in Middlefield,
CT.
I just received my new S.C.A. product
and I am not 100% sure on how to use or install them.
Simply send us an email with any questions you may have. We try
to respond within 24 hours.
I have a problem with my new item,
may I return it?
Please email or phone us first as most problems can be corrected
by email or over the phone. If there is still a problem, do not
shoot the firearm. We will email you with proper shipping directions
and a return invoice number. We want you to be 100% satisfied
with your S.C.A. products.
I have noticed that there are other
web sites that sell MAC/COBRAY accessories. Why should I purchase
parts and accessories from S.C.A.?
Stonycreek Armory is the most trusted and reliable name in MAC/COBRAY
accessories. We were the very first company to offer the H&K
MP5 adjustable sighting system on the Side Cocker Upper. We have
perfected this operation and our great reputation is nation wide.
We also CNC machine all our parts including the front H&K
sights and rear riser platform so cheap square tubing is not used.
We are the very first company to design the two section ATF approved.
patent pending Suomi-MAC upper receiver conversion kit.
We have been manufacturing Aircraft parts for many years and our
super tight tolerances and high quality workmanship shows up on
our firearms parts. One look at our machining center photos and
you will see the see the high level of expertise involved in our
parts design and construction. Only the most skilled machinists
and best equipment is used.
All aluminum parts are Anodized black to Mil-specs. All steel
parts are manganese parkerized and/or coated with baked on, super
tough finishes used by the military world wide.
Our raised MP5 sights match our butt stocks for a perfect check
weld and comfortable shooting position.
We test shoot new ideas daily and and compete in area subgun matches
so nothing but the best, toughest and most accurate products will
do.
The huge success and popularity of Stonycreek Armory world wide
has made us the leader in custom MAC/COBRAY parts and accessories!
The new items we have available now and the yet to be released
items will ensure Stonycreek Armory's lead in the world firearms
market place for years to come.
Our commitment to continuous improvement and better customer satisfaction
will prove Stonycreek's resolve to stay number one.
We are always here for you day or night by email , phone or fax.
We are here for the long run and value you as a customer and a
friend.
Most of S.C.A.s photographs are
very plain with zero computer effects. Why don’t you use
computer enhancements like some other web sites?
Here at S.C.A we want you to see the real item, not some "cartoon"
of the item. Anyone can add effects or enhance a picture by computer
but we pride ourselves in showing you a real part, in a real photograph.
You may want to visit a few of the internet message boards to
see the reviews on us and the other companies. Also, see our "customer
email" section with tons of product reviews from our customers.
I want to see more pictures of your
products. Where can I find them?
We have our Stonycreek SMG group with 225+ more photographs of
our products and customers firearms. On the web sites front page,
you will see "Stonycreek’s
SMG Group" click there and you will go directly to the
group. It is at this address also http://groups.yahoo.com/group/stonycreekarmory/
You can view more pictures at our "Stony's
pictures" section on the main web site for five pages
of pictures.
I am also interested in TEC9's do
you have a group for them?
Yes we do. You will find our >TEC9
group< with tons of photographs at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/STONYCREEKS-TEC-9/?guide=155692199
There is a link for this group on our front page. (TEC9 GROUP)
I have a M11A1 .380 or a M12 .380,
Do you make parts for this firearm?
Yes, we have the Side Cocker Uppers with or without the H&K
Sighting system for it. Our stocks and front tactical grips will
also fit. We also make the longer M12.380 uppers which are the
same length as the M11/9 uppers. All our .380 uppers have the
6" barrel, no longer barrels are available at this time.
I have a POWDER
SPRING M10/45 lower receiver and need to have the special barrel
notching operation for my extractor to work. Will Stonycreek do
this for me?
Yes, we will do this operation at no extra charge. Just be sure
to include a note on your order that you need it done. There are
no other manufactures we know of doing this procedure. You will
also need the M10 two-piece split receiver pin.
I have a TEXAS MAC,
Do you make uppers for these?
The way to tell which upper you need is to remove your current
upper, look
into the lower receiver where the current receiver pin goes. (This
is the
pin that holds the upper to the lower) if yours has a re-enforcing
plate
welded to the inside area where the pin goes thru, (down one wall,
acrossed
the bottom, up the other wall) you can purchase a normal M10/9
upper. If
there is no plate you may need the Texas mac upper as it is wider
in that
area to take up the needed space.
Do you have parts for my H&K
sight assemblies?
Yes, we have all the springs, screws, washers and any other sight
part you may need if one is lost or broken.
I scratched my upper; will you be
able to refinish it for me?
Yes, we can do that for you for a nominal fee. Email us for shipping
instructions.
Will Stonycreek be able to re-finish
my lower receiver?
Sorry, here in lovely Connecticut we cannot get your lower receivers
as the State has deemed even semi-autos an assault weapon. You
may want to ask a local gunsmith or metal refinisher for that
operation.
I have other questions that this
FAQ board did not answer.
Just email us with any questions you might have.
